What matters?
Listen. Read. Think. Communicate.
Nature, nurture heaven and home
Sum of all, and by them, driven
To conquer every mountain shown
But I've never crossed the river
Braved the forests, braved the stone
Braved the icy winds and fire
Braved and beat them on my own
Yet I'm helpless by the river
Angel, angel, what have I done?
I've faced the quakes, the wind, the fire
I've conquered country, crown, and throne
Why can't I cross this river?
Angel, angel, what have I done?
I've faced the quakes, the wind, the fire
I've conquered country, crown, and throne
Why can't I cross this river?
Pay no mind to the battles you've won
It'll take a lot more than rage and muscle
Open your heart and hands, my son
Or you'll never make it over the river
It'll take a lot more than words and guns
A whole lot more than riches and muscle
The hands of the many must join as one
And together we'll cross the river
It'll take a lot more than words and guns
A whole lot more than riches and muscle
The hands of the many must join as one
And together we'll cross the river
It'll take a lot more than words and guns
A whole lot more than riches and muscle
The hands of the many must join as one
And together we'll cross the river
It'll take a lot more than words and guns
A whole lot more than riches and muscle
The hands of the many must join as one
And together we'll cross the river
Perhaps I can be your guide, but I will not solve the enigma for you. All of you must open your minds and communicate with each other, as this is the only way the answers can be revealed. Listen. Read. Think. Communicate.
If I don't promise you the answers, would you go?
Nothing REALLY matters...
ReplyDeleteIt's just perception.
Life is abundant and free. No rules. No laws. No limitation.
So why do we constantly think there is a purpose or meaning to define?
Simple...
You live in a world with others. You are not alone. Therefore much of our lives are spent around people. The problems of others can eventually rub off onto you, and in doing so, puts you into a position of, "do I help, or do I ignore them?" By voluntarily participating to help, you devote time and effort to absorb the problems of others, and carry them as your own. These bonds we create with other human beings relay feelings of love, emotions, and communication that strengthen those bonds. This has enabled us to gain the insight that if we help those around us, together we can make the world a better place. For many, this definitely matters. It matters because of the potential to become something more than what we can do alone. But it doesn't have to be that way...it is only a choice. A choice to be "human".
However, let's say your on an island by yourself.
Now what matters most when no one else is around?
Put yourself into an imaginary situation like this example and THINK! You shouldn't be surprised to discover that your whole perception of reality can change in the blink of an eye. All you have to do is let go of everything you think you know. Then, and ONLY then can you truly undersgrand lifes grand design.
Life is what you make of it and how you view it in terms of potential to grow and evolve. Everything is in a state of impermanence and always changing. Therefore, so is what matters.
Environment influences behavior and thought, as we previously learned.
If the world wasn't polluted, had no corruption, no wars, and everyone lived in a state of utopia with NO problems, well.....
Now what really matters? REALLY?
P.S. The answer to the Enigma is staring everyone of you in the face.

.....I'm still here.....
I agree with every aspect of the scope of fundamentals; of love and peace and couldnt agree more about perception. What the world has to build in order to recieve peace for every one of its inhabitants is a periodical system of checks and balances that isnt worded and created to trap people within choice, and rather make it a hand joining a hand joining a hand... everywhere. And I wish I could say that I've done my part but none of us in america have "stood out," in the struggle to change america for the betterment of the policy we live by and the world around us. I would love the oppurtunity to work together with you in the struggle upwards toward a better country for our generation, being that we are born months apart lol.
